My Story

I was born in Mount Kisco, NY, raised in Bridgeport, CT.  My grandmother “Grackry” was the delivery nurse. Grackry had a great influence in my love of all animals and nature by subscribing to Ranger Rick at a very young age and later to National/International Wildlife for me. My father had a role in my love of drawing as he too is an artist. As a child, I seldom did not have a pencil in hand. In school, I had an art teacher, Ms. Karla Kern, she saw my potential, taking me under her wings beyond the confines of the school day. As an adult, I taught myself to paint at my kitchen table. Painting has provided me a way to express a world of imagination that encapsulates my love of nature and fantasy.
